The story of the Looftlighter started with a perfectly cooked BBQ chicken that had to be tossed out because it tasted like lighter fluids. This was the end of using bad tasting & harmful lighter fluids for mister Looft. He took matters into his own hands and invented his own lighter using a vacuum cleaner and a bread toaster. Little did he know this would change the BBQ world.

Fast forward a couple of years and the Looflighter in his current form was born. Making it as easy as possible to light your bbq or fireplace, without the use of gas, flames or lighter fluids. With simply clean and hot air reaching temperatures of 600°C within seconds, it is the safest, quickest and most environmentally friendly way to get your fire going!

It's one of our favourite BBQ accessories and you can use it to ignite charcoal, briquettes, wood, hardwood, pellets, heat beads & more.

To use: Touch the charcoal pile with the tip of the Looftlighter. Pull it slightly backwards when sparks or glow appear. Continue pointing the Looftlighter towards the same spot for at least 60 seconds (to ignite the charcoal) or a couple of minutes (to get the charcoal white and ready to use).
