Part 1 of our favourite BBQ recipes has got us still drooling but we didn't want to make you wait any longer, so get your shopping list handy and fire up the grill. We've included a bunch of pizza recipes as well, in case you're one of the lucky people that got their hands on an Ooni pizza oven before lockdown.
We're excited to announce we'll be launching a private facebook group for true Grill Masters soon, so don't forget to take a photo of your latest feast so you can share it with fellow BBQ lovers!
Pork, Lamb & Beef BBQ Recipes
Kicking off with a luxe burger, this Steak Burger with Tangy Caramelised Onions is what we are craving at the moment. The juicy patty with herb butter is a golden combo and served on a crispy bun this will be your new favourite Friday night meal.
This seriously tender Smoked Brisket takes a good while, but if you plan ahead, this will be the lockdown feast your family will talk about for months. Needless to say, you need a smoker, and a meat thermometer is pretty crucial too! Serve with chips and aioli and a stack of napkins.
Another dish that requires some planning ahead, but leaving this Grilled Marinated Leg of Lamb to soak up all flavours for 8 hours is truly worth the wait and if you're really patience you could even stretch it out to 24 hours. Serve with roasted potato and seasonal veggies from the grill.
These Indian-spiced Lamb Skewers are a nice twist on a traditional BBQ dish. Served with mint yoghurt which gives you the opportunity to use up that overgrowing mint in your garden. No waiting around for half a day, this dish is fairly easy and quick to make!
Feeling more like pork? Try out this Pork & Spring Onion Yakiton recipe, these Japanese pork skewers have a delicious soy ginger glaze that is sweet and sticky. Serve with some rice (we're sure you can use a break of potatoes by now) and salted edamame beans.
Pizza Recipes
Before you begin planning the toppings of your pizza, have a look at our recent blog on the perfect italian pizza dough. Make sure to bake in some time to let the dough rise, and while you're at it make an extra batch to freeze in so it'll be even quicker next time you heat up the pizza oven. If you're feeling adventures, opt for sour dough pizza dough!
Let's kick off with a classic pizza margherita, when prepared with high quality ingredients and wood fired, you'll ask yourself if you really need more toppings next time. It's delicious in its simplicity and often a kids favourite too.
Pizza Peperoni, apparently the most frequently ordered pizza in the world, and for a good reason. This ultra classic can not be missed in your pizza repertoire. Don't forget the chilli oil for some extra spice and a fresh cucumber & tomato salad on the side will do wonders if you've overdone it on the spicy part.
Another big favourite and quite a fancy one is the Prosciutto, Fig & Ricotta Pizza. The flavour of these 3 ingredients combined with fresh rocket are working perfectly together and will make this pizza taste even better than it looks.
This ultra cheesy pizza is cooked in a skillet inside a pizza oven. The Fugazza Pizza originates from Argentina, although developed by Italians who moved there. You have to be into onions and be ready for a true cheese coma afterwards too!
Keep an eye out for updates around our closed facebook group, we'd love to connect and share experiences with you there!
