I have no issues with this oven, i have been using it for almost 2 years without a problem. It scratches easily but when you can eat a pizza when you want it’s the deal breaker

Excellent bit of gear, but that doesn’t mean it is fool proof
No surprises. It cooks great pizza, conveniently. It gets as hot as is claimed, so the pizza is as close as to neopolitan as I’m likely to get without building a large wood fired oven. A tool this powerful takes some getting used to, this isn’t a machine that requires no skill from the user. I have enjoyed reading about the various key steps, from making the dough, stretching, launching and turning the pizza. They take skill but can be learnt using YouTube. Timing is key and I find I have to watch my pizza to make sure I turn it at precisely the right second to prevent overcooking. The oven is small so you need to turn the pizza round to get an even bake, and the crust only puffs up on one side, the side nearest the entry doesn’t rise. It’s taken me four batches to master all aspects of the process, so fairly quick. I would note that gas, much like a bbq, isn’t wood, and there is a subtle something missing in the flavour. But that’s the price of convenience, and I’m more than happy. I only buy cleverly designed gear, and ooni is just that.

Good but could be better
Takes some getting used to timing is everything, but would be better if there was a depth guide so you don’t put it to near the flame at the back and get burnt crusts but easy and speed is remarkably good first batch we did 6 Pizzas in 11 minutes, really pleased with the oven overall.

Easy to use and great result
We were not so fond of gas pizza ovens as believed in "hard core" fire ones, but we wanted to have something portable and for everyday use. Ooni Koda was recommended us by a friend who was praising it was the easy use, consistent high temperature and great results. Well, we were not disappointed!
Simple to setup, 400 degrees achieved in 15 minutes, pizza is ready under 60 second and you can take it anywhere. Amazing!
P.S. Really recommend to have a good pizza peel/paddle.
