The RB73 Sheddak is a modular outdoor log store made from 3mm CorTen steel, handcrafted in the Netherlands. Its clean, architectural roofline turns practical firewood storage into a considered garden feature, and the raw steel develops a protective patina over time, so there is no painting or treatment needed.

Open sections promote airflow to keep logs dry and properly seasoned, while the version with doors adds an enclosed section for tools, kindling or garden accessories. The roof's short and long sides can be swapped during assembly to suit your layout and give better protection from the prevailing weather.

Designed to age beautifully

Each log store starts with a refined, dark silver finish: raw CorTen steel in its purest form. Exposed to the elements, the surface develops a rich, warm patina that gives CorTen its unmistakable character and protects the steel from further corrosion. The colour deepens from silver to warm orange and earthy tones, typically within 2 to 4 months, and every unit weathers slightly differently depending on its conditions.

• Early exposure may produce light runoff in rain; this is a normal part of the process and reduces significantly once the surface matures.
• Regular moisture speeds things up naturally, and a light salt water mist can encourage faster patina development.
• Avoid placing it where early runoff could stain pale paving or decking.

• How much firewood does it hold? The three-module Sheddak holds approximately 4 m³ of firewood with all bays open.
• Can the roof orientation be changed? Yes. The roof has a short and a long side, which can be swapped during assembly depending on your preference or where the log store sits.
• What is the closed section for? The enclosed bay is better suited to tools, bins or garden accessories than firewood, as the reduced airflow can stop logs drying properly.
• Does it arrive assembled? No. It is delivered flat packed and goes together without heavy machinery.
